Our Vineyard & Winery

Vineyard

We currently operate 55 hectares of vines spread across different appellations, including 24 hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape which represent the heart of our vineyard. Then, we have 19 hectares in Côtes-du-Rhône, 9 hectares in Lirac and 3 hectares in Vin de France.
Our vines thrive in varied soils, including sandstone, red clay, sandy hillsides, limestone rocks and rolling pebbles well exposed to the sun and caressed by the famous Mistral. These conditions, combined with meticulous management of the vines, give our grapes optimal maturity and a unique aromatic concentration of the region's wines.

With passion and respect, we cultivate the 13 families of grape varieties authorized in the AOP Châteauneuf-du-Pape specifications. The symphony begins with Grenache, followed by Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Counoise and Syrah, and concludes with remarkable grape varieties such as Roussane, Clairette blanche and rose, Piquepoul, and others, totaling 18 grape varieties. Added to this are lesser-known and atypical varieties for the region, such as Furmint, Cabestrel, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Each grape variety contributes with its unique personality to the distinctive expression of each of our wines.

Following each harvest, which is distinguished by its unique character, the winemaking process is undertaken with extreme care, respecting traditions such as manual harvesting, while integrating modern viticultural techniques. We pay particular attention to each stage of the winemaking process, from harvest to aging. Always looking for improvements, new ideas and perspectives, we strive to obtain the best quality of grapes, aiming to intervene as little as possible while maximizing quality during these stages.

At the Domaine, authenticity and differentiation go hand in hand with our commitment to organic and biodynamic agriculture. Biodynamics is not just a philosophical approach, but also a technical approach. By combining specific preparations and a careful schedule based on cosmic cycles, biodynamics offers a complete method for growing quality grapes while respecting the natural balances of the environment.
